recycled treasures!

repurposed from good stuff & turned into something treasured

Repurposing used items and incorporating them into my work is an enjoyable creative challenge for me. 
Inspired by my love for great beer and cool wine bottles.  These necklaces are all made from bottles that I have collected from the woods on mountain biking adventures or just haven't wanted to toss in the recycling bin.

the brown beads below were Hoegaarden beer bottles

the dark green pendants used to be San Pellegrino bottles

light green beads were from a delicious Napa Valley Chardonnay bottle

the beautiful blues are complements of a fabulous vodka bottle


I was inspired to create my bottlecap line while I was sailing the ocean blue around the USVI and BVI sipping on several Carib and Corona's.

I love giving old caps a new life as art! 

I'm so thrilled that these have really been a hit!
